CEO Structural Engineers offer a broad range of routine construction inspection services.  We serve municipalities, departments of transportation, architects, contractors, building owners and managers, inspecting both existing structures and new construction.  We also provide special inspection services including Forensic Engineering, Property Condition Inspection, FEMA Seismic Review and NFPA 1403 Live Fire Training Tower Inspections.

Forensic investigation of failed structures is a CEOSE specialty.  We serve a variety of clients providing concise, comprehensive and intelligible reports detailing every aspect of the failure.  In addition to conventional structural analysis, we can provide specialized testing procedures and visualization tools to better understand the events that caused the failure, such as 3D Modeling and Thermographic Imaging as shown in the images above.

CEO Structural Engineers can provide Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) of existing commercial or residential buildings.  The evaluation can be cursory in nature or comprehensive, meeting the full ASTM E2018 Standard for property condition assessment.  We serve lending institutions, buyers, sellers, real estate professionals and municipalities.

CEO Structural Engineers are experienced in the Rapid Visual Screening (RVS) of Buildings for  Potential Seismic Hazards.  This is the FEMA scoring system used primarily by Federal Agencies to rank buildings according to their expected safety and usability during and after earthquakes.
